Gregory Peck portrayed decent and highly principled characters in films. He starred in such movies as ‘Spellbound’, ‘Gentlemen’s Agreement’, and ‘Twelve O’Clock High’. His signature character was Atticus Finch, a Southern lawyer, defending an innocent Black man, accused of raping a White girl. The story was set in Maycomb, Alabama, in the 1930’s. Written by Harper Lee, it is one of my favorite books and movies.
